Great mead deserves a wicked little partner in crime. That’s why our smash burgers are treated like small-batch brews with a bad attitude. We start with locally sourced meat, smash it hard and hot, then stack it with filthy, flavor-soaked combinations that should probably come with a warning label. Just like our meads, nothing stays the same. Every week brings a brand-new burger creation. One burger. One batch. Sometimes we like to bring it back. But always greasy, glorious debauchery between two buns.

No mercy.

Our Famous Weekly Burger

Double-patty burger with melted cheese and caramelized onions, with a beer.

We have a special experience here at The Hive.

For the season of Lent, we’re pressing pause on our weekly specialty burgers and bringing something a little more… divine.

Introducing The Mahi Communion

Forgive us our tres-passes.

Three grilled Mahi Mahi fillets, responsibly sourced from our local SHS - Sustainable Healthy Seafoodcrew. Flame-seasoned and topped with our homemade cilantro pineapple salsa that brings just enough tropical sunshine to melt the winter blues. Served three per order, because blessings come in threes.

Starting this Friday 2/20, these beauties will be available throughout Lent in place of our specialty burger lineup.

Don’t worry. Our classic smash burger isn’t going anywhere. If beef is your religion, you can still worship accordingly.

Join us at Bee Spit and receive your weekly communion… taco style.

About Bee Spit Meadery

Bee Spit Meadery

Bee Spit Meadery was born from a love of experimentation, storytelling, and doing things a little louder than tradition says we should. We craft mead that pushes boundaries — bold flavors, unexpected combinations, and playful names — while still respecting the ancient art of fermenting honey into something magical.

Every batch starts with quality honey and a healthy dose of curiosity. From classic traditionals to wild, dessert-inspired, spiced, carbonated, and downright unhinged creations, our goal is simple: make mead that’s fun, memorable, and damn good to drink.

Founder Story

Bee Spit started the way most good ideas do — with Brothers, a lot of curiosity, and a willingness to see what honey could really do. What began as small experimental batches quickly turned into something bigger with a nudge from one of the brothers. Each success (and a few spectacular failures) shaped the fearless approach Bee Spit is known for today: take risks, learn fast, and never stop creating. The meadery grew not from chasing trends, but from following passion, community support, and a stubborn belief that mead should be exciting, approachable, and anything but boring.

Drink bold. Stay curious. And welcome to the hive.
